INTRODUCTION

Dear Parents, Friends, and Students,

The next show is just a few months away!

This will be the sixth show since our studio was founded, and we have lots of wonderful things to show you with the theme ‘All About Painting’.

As with the last show, we have scheduled three performances over a single weekend. The times are the same as before: Saturday at 3 p.m., Sunday at 10 a.m. and Sunday at 4 p.m.

All students will perform at least three times per show; some will participate in only one event (usually the youngest, up to around 10 years old), while others will participate in two or even three.

We have sent each student a personalised email specifying the show(s) they will be participating in.
The three performances (approximately 300 dancers) are different because we have divided the Breakdance, Hip-Hop, Contemporary, Zumba & Jazz classes equally (in the second part) in order to achieve a total duration of nearly three hours for each event.

We are also continuing to use the same ticketing platform (BilletWeb). This will be accessible via a button at the bottom of this page from 12 noon on 15 March.
We will be able to accommodate 3x 800 spectators. This means that most of each student's fan club (grandparents, brothers and sisters, godparents, etc.) can come and support their idol.
However, as we were very short on seats last time, we have limited the number of spectators to 10 per student and per show.
Finally, without wanting to put any pressure on the timing, the pace of sales is very important and fast once the ticket office opens.
Of course, we will maintain a permanent presence in the Studio to allow those who have questions and/or prefer less digital methods to purchase their tickets at the box office.

This introduction allows us to add or emphasise some additional information:

    • Attendance at classes in the second semester of 2025-2026
Both for the beauty of the show and for the comfort of your children, we would like to emphasise that it is essential that your children attend as many classes as possible between now and 23 & 24 May 2026. Apart from the few weeks when different school systems have staggered holidays, more than three absences between now and that date may compromise (at least partially) your child's participation in the performance on 23 and/or 24 May. If, for exceptional reasons, you find yourself in this situation, please contact us as soon as possible.

    • Absence from the performance on 23 and/or 24 May
In order to organise the performance, it is essential that we know as soon as possible which children/young people will not be participating in the performance. Please notify us by email (or via the contact form on the website) as soon as possible, as we need to plan the logistics, particularly for the stage costumes.

    • Dress rehearsals
We have always had a strict policy of not adding extra rehearsals to the normal classes.
However, we will not be taking the Ascension weekend off: there will be classes on Friday and Saturday.
Rehearsals at the Uccle Cultural Centre will be limited to certain groups and will take place either on Thursday 21 May between 4.30 pm and 8.30 pm, Friday 22 May between 4.30 pm and 8.30 pm, or Saturday 23 May between 10 am and 12 noon. In any case, this does not apply to children under the age of 10.

    • Costumes
All costumes are provided by the Studio. There is therefore nothing to buy and no costs to be expected for this item. However, some fairly standard or very personal items of clothing (white T-shirt, black tights, etc.) may be requested: in this case, you will receive a specific message from us.

    • Help from parents on the weekend of 23 & 24 May
We make no secret of the fact that any help that mothers can give us on the weekend of the show is always welcome (we are addressing mothers exclusively because the needs are mainly in the changing rooms/dressing rooms) . This assistance is mainly intended to help dress our youngest pupils and/or do the hair and make-up of our dancers. However, there is one condition that volunteers must accept: they must be available for the entire day on either Saturday or Sunday. It is therefore not possible to leave early to join the audience, for example.
To compensate and thank you for your help, we offer all helpers a video of the show created by a team of professionals.
