INTRODUCTION

Dear Parents, dear friends, dear students,

Since our last show in 2022, a lot of water has flowed under the bridge: we've completed our move to the Salle Bascule, opened the dance section for people with disabilities, and so on.

For the show too, we are going to innovate by programming 3 performances (rather than 2 as in 2022 and one as in 2019 ;-)
We have decided to split the groups of dancers into 3. In most cases, the ballet students (up to Coryphée 1 level) will only appear on stage for one of the 3 performances. The other children's disciplines perform only once (e.g. hip-hop will come on Saturday at 3pm, breakdance on Sunday at 4pm, etc.).

Given the success and efficiency of the previous show, we are using a specialised platform that will allow you to book and pay for your tickets online (without having to queue in our office).
Of course, we'll still be available in our office (on the 1st floor) so that anyone who has any questions and/or prefers less digital methods can buy their tickets in the same timeframe.

This introduction allows us to add or emphasise some additional information:

  1. Class attendance 2nd half term 2023-2024
    Both for the beauty of the show and the comfort of your children, we take the liberty of stressing that it is essential that your children attend as many classes as possible between now and June 1st and 2d 2024. This will be our first show with the new school holiday arrangements and it will be even harder to get everyone to attend at the same time this half term. Apart from these staggered periods, more than 3 absences between now and that date are likely to compromise (at least partially) the presence on stage on June 1st and 2d. If, for exceptional reasons, you find yourself in this situation, please get in touch with us as soon as possible.
  2. Absence at the show on June 1st and 2d
    In order to organise the show, it is essential that we know as soon as possible which children/young people will not be taking part in the show. Please let us know by email (or via the website contact form).
  3. Parental help on the weekend of June 1st and 2d
    We make no secret of the fact that any help that mums can give us on the weekend of the show is always welcome (we are primarily addressing mums as the needs are mainly present within the changing rooms/lockers) ;
    These helpers are mainly intended to help dress our youngest pupils and/or do the hair and make-up of our dancers;
    There is, however, one constraint to be accepted by volunteers: the Saturday or Sunday help day must be full. To thank you and compensate for this, we are guaranteeing that all our helpers will be able to see, at least, their child(ren) dancing in the very foreground during rehearsals on Wednesdays;
    We are also offering them the official video of the show during which we will have been helped.
  4. Save the dates
